You will have noticed the scarecity of new posts recently.
That is because we have been traveling, and recording video at every opportunity.
We then edited the footage and uploaded everything to YouTube where we now have our own channel with the name of hylonlad.
You can view short videos of Cities in the Mediterranean, Florida, Colorado, England and Wales as well as a few others.
Video has got a strong grip on my attention at the moment. Previously I was editing in Adobe Premiere Elements, and I will be happy to offer advice on any questions you have about the program, but now I’m learning to use Adobe CS4 which is a massive editing suite.
The video camera I use varies, as I now have 3 of them, The Aiptec pocketcam, a sony single chip, and a 3 chip Panasonic.
I try and show in the script with each video on YouTube which camera I recorded each video on.
Watch out in the New Year for more video related posts.
Best wishes to you all,

You see, I’ve always read that having your own product for sale on the Internet is the
best way to raise your profile leading on to making some money.
That’s all very well if you are a programmer or some other kind of Guru, but what
about the little guys like you and me with no specialist knowledge at all.
Ebooks was the answer to that question, but write your own.
It took some pursuasion to convince me that there was a book inside of everyone,
me included, just waiting to get out and be written.
Finally, I came up with my book to write, which is about the Greater Orlando area in Florida where I used to live.
This would be no regurgitation of the Disney story, but my own personal story of the
places we would go to as “locals”.
No fancy theme parks with inflated admission prices, but a detailed account of all the
magnificent State parks with an endless variety of activities for seniors like ourselves,
an account of all the wild animals and birds we came across on a daily basis, and
a list of our favourite waterways, canals and lakes.
We often went to a concert with top names playing, and never paid more than $20 each.
A free cruise was a monthly event, and I’ll tell you how you can cruise for free too.
These and countless numbers of other pastimes which even some of the locals don’t know
about are all included in my book.
Florida has an endless progam of Festivals throughout the State, so I’ve listed those too,
many of them with free entry. Maps, dates, photographs and a hyperlink to every place I
recommend you to visit will be included.
The book is very nearly finished, and you my readers can have a copy for free, yes FREE.
Just sign up on the form to the right and I will know how to tell you when it is ready.
Have a great Easter, and stay safe.
