We just returned from vacation cruising the med and one of the ports we visited was Civitavecchia for Rome, Italy.

The cruise line wanted $89 for a panoramic tour of Rome, or $49 just to drop us off there, so we decided to go-it-alone.

I’ve recorded a video of the whole visit to Rome which we did from an open top bus, and I hope this can help some of you who are planning to visit Rome, and give you confidence to make your own arrangements:
